had a lovely trip anyway.

on holiday next week. no commuting until thursday

as you can see, it was a bit wet this morning. wetness of biblical proportions. and windy, which explains the horizontality of the rain in the bottom snap. exciting too. lots of water on the road, raging burns, and in front of me a landrover rear-ended the library van. my first thought was that it was a deliberate ploy by someone wishing to empty the contents of a library van. but then I remembered where I was. perhaps it was for the biscuit tin. perhaps it was an accident. little did I know my trip over the bealach could have been even more exciting. shortly after my journey there was a landslip (avalanche for those on the other side). police are supposedly on the scene, council digger is on its way. perhaps I should scout some alternative accommodation for tonight?
